FC Barcelona Ready for Historic Game at Upgraded Camp Nou this Saturday
Barça revealed they are set to host at the partially upgraded Camp Nou this Saturday. The club will host the Basque side in the Spanish league two and a half years since relocating for construction to commence.
“Returning home was our dream. Finally, it’s happening. We are back at Spotify Camp Nou.”
Attendance will be limited with 45,401 fans can be present based on approved permits. When completed, the Camp Nou is due to hold close to 105,000 fans, a rise from the old capacity. The club said finished work included a renovated tunnel for players plus modern locker rooms.
Preparatory Events
Barça organized a public practice inside the stadium on 7 November. Officials stated approval is being pursued from European football’s governing body to host the next European match against Eintracht Frankfurt next month at Camp Nou. Their recent games have been held at Estadio Olímpic Lluís Companys.
