Seattle engineered a stunning fightback to defeat the Rams in overtime, securing their spot in the NFL play-offs.
Overcoming a 30-14 hole in the final period, the Seattle squad triumphed by a single point at home, notching their fifth straight victory.
While the Los Angeles had become the first to earn a playoff berth earlier on Sunday, the Seahawks secured their place to the postseason after a two-year absence.
With this result, the Seahawks now lead their division's race with a twelve and three mark, replacing the Los Angeles, who fell to the fifth seed with an eleven and four record.
Game Highlights
Signal-caller Sam Darnold had two picks but recovered to make two scoring throws, culminating in the tying score to star receiver Smith-Njigba in the extra period.
The Rams held a six-point lead at half-time before Walker broke free for a long touchdown run for the home side.
Rams defensive back Wallace then took back Darnold's initial pick for 56 yards, leading to a short score by Corum on the ensuing snap.
In the fourth quarter, a scoring pass from Stafford to Nacua extended the advantage to sixteen points, but Rashid Shaheed ignited Seattle's comeback with a 58-yard return for a score.
Darnold then found AJ Barner in the end zone, and a converted two-point play forced the game into an extra period.
Although Nacua scored for his second TD in overtime, Jaxon Smith-Njigba answered in kind to set up the game-winning conversion.
