The Cottagers Begin Powerfully to Beat Tottenham and Increase Tension on Frank
Spurs supporters who booed goalkeeper Vicario were informed afterwards "those individuals cannot be true Spurs supporters" by boss Frank.
Tottenham conceded a pair of scores in the opening initial moments to lose 2-1 to their opponents, marking their 10th top-flight at home loss of the year.
However the main talking point was Fulham's next goal when the keeper gave away possession well beyond his area.
The goalkeeper ventured out to deal with a high pass and took the ball towards the sideline.
But, instead of booting it out of play, the Italy international spun and attempted to clear away, but slipped as the ball skimmed off Wilson and was collected by King.
The forward laid the ball off to Welsh midfield player Harry Wilson, who bent a shot into the goal from the sideline recorded at 36.6 yards.
Moments afterwards when the ball went to Vicario again, some Spurs fans jeered him.
Spurs were booed off at the interval, with the club 2-0 behind, and again at the final whistle.
A particular of those jeering sessions truly angered the manager.
"I heard a few of our supporters reportedly booed the situation and booed after, which, in my opinion is completely unjustifiable," the Dane commented about the fans' response to his shot-stopper.
"[They] can't be true Spurs supporters that do that. Fair enough booing following the game, fine, but when we are in play, we are backing each other, we are with each other moving ahead."
Tete had given Fulham a fourth-minute lead prior to Harry Wilson's strike – with Kudus netting for Tottenham in an better second period performance.
Former Premier League keeper Joe Hart remarked that the second score was "completely avoidable".
"I certainly understand the supporters' disappointment," Hart added. "I am aware the role the keeper is performing. He is a great team player, he is a real figure in the locker room but ultimately you are going to be assessed by your decisions.
"The keeper was heavily implicated in what ended up to be the winning score."
Thomas Frank Stood Up For His Goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario Following the Game
Italy national team the keeper is in his third campaign with Tottenham.
The 29-year-old said after the match that he had to accept the feedback.
"That score was a error of mine, I accept responsibility for it," he commented.
"The intent was to clear the ball long and I simply hit the ball in a poor way. It was an even bigger mountain to overcome."
He stated receiving jeers "comes with football".
"I am mature, what can I say?" he added. "The team cannot be influenced by the situation in the crowd. The fans have the right to do as they see fit.
"It is on us to remain more composed, to focus on ourselves. We are lacking in composure and poise to reverse outcomes. Today is a poor loss and it is hard to take."
In spite of Vicario's mistake, it was far from an simple score for Wilson to score.
In fact it was the second most distant top division score of the campaign – following Adams' forty-three point three yard goal for the Cherries against Sunderland, which interestingly also occurred on Saturday.
Wilson said he was "a little bit surprised" that he still had an empty goal to aim for.
Ten moments elapsed between Vicario exiting of his area and Wilson shooting – which was 5 seconds after the clearance.
"It seemed to me like the goalkeeper was away from the box for ages," he remarked.
"It amazed me not one of the back four returned to the goal line. When none of them covered the goal, my interest lit up somewhat.
"[Destiny] Udogie fell as well, which gave me a bit of extra opportunity. After that it was all about attempting to achieve the correct contact and get it on target. I felt a positive sense, the moment it came off my foot, that it was heading in."
Jeering While We Are Still Playing Is Completely Unjustifiable - Frank
Although the keeper's error dominated coverage, this was an overall poor day for Spurs to extend their home struggles.
The match was their 10th home defeat of the year in the league, a joint club statistic matching nineteen ninety-four and 2003.
They still have home games against Frank's former club Brentford and title holders Liverpool to play prior to the end of the season.
Only one of those victories have come since Frank took over from Ange Postecoglou in the off-season.
"When you're down 2-0 after the opening, there is a huge challenge to climb," stated the boss.
"During in a poor run, everything appears to go against you as well – the opening was a deflected attempt, the second is a error from Vic.
"This result puts us in a position where we have lost an additional game. Each fixture has a single narrative, today we lost in the first six minutes.
"We simply need to continue striving. The later period was much better and hopefully something we can use to develop."
Tottenham have been defeated in four straight home London derbies for the first time in the Premier League.
Furthermore they are averaging nine point five attempts and 3.2 efforts on goal per match in the division – their poorest averages on record in a single season (since at least 2003-04).
Ex- Cottagers midfield player Danny Murphy stated that Frank has to endure the criticism.
"He must take the criticism," Murphy said. "He's taken a high profile job at a major football club with massive expectation. There is pressure and duty that accompanies that.
"The performances at home have been poor and they have to improve {quickly|
